Step 5: The Sub-Collector keeps a record in a special form (called MBPY-III), sorting out which applications are most important, as advised by the B.D.O.

Sanction Process

Step 1: The Sub-Collector evaluates the applications within 15 days. They’ll decide whether to sanction the pension, reject it with justifications or request for more information. The Sub-Divisional Social Welfare Officer aids with all of this.

Step 2: If the applications need more information, they go back to the B.D.O. The B.D.O then responds and submits it again in a span of 7 days.

Step 3: The B.D.O. sends the approval or rejection notice along with a photo ID card to the applicant within a week and also lets the Executive Officer know if needed.
